Our painting is different from that of F Boucher, but it is in the same vein. The painter uses the brush with virtuosity, for a very decorative work. Once Love has succeeded in reaching the center of the target, virtuous Love triumphs. The other putti missed the heart, which makes them sad and disappointed.
