Original Watercolor Marcel Euvrard Around 1950 Colmar, framed under glass with a nice period frame. Good condition. Dimensions: 52 cm by 44 cm. - Born April 23, 1905 in Belfort, Marcel Euvrard spent his youth in Château-Thierry. At the age of eighteen, he joined the Chemins de fer de l'Est as an industrial designer and gave free rein to his passion for watercolour. He spent the war in Vesoul, mobilized to his post. In 1952, he left his native Franche-Comté and settled in Nancy. It was in the Lorraine capital that his talent as a watercolourist took on its full potential, and he exhibited regularly in numerous salons. In 2005, he was named Officer in the Order of Arts and Letters. He died in December 2007 in Saint Max.
