"Small Japanese Showcase Cabinet"
This beautiful Japanese display cabinet with tinted sycamore shelves and bronze and ivory ornaments is a work from the end of the 19th century in the style of Viardot and the Maison des Bambous. The upper part consists of a small window part opening by a glass door with its key. The frame is decorated with small Asian characters in ivory which shows some gaps (see photo). The pediment decorated with a dragon's head in polished varnished bronze, as well as the perimeter has the characteristic curved lines of Japanese furniture The lower part is made up of small asymmetrical shelves and four sinuous feet decorated with openwork patterns in polished bronze varnish.
