This type of cross is known from the Comtat Venaissin to the Alpes de Haute-Provence, where it is called the Jeannette Cross.
It is possible that it is the ancestor of most Provençal crosses which, embellished with richer and more varied ornamentation during the 18th and 19th centuries, evolved into the classic Maintenon, Capucine and Devotee models.
This cross is composed of six gold domes finished with four diamonds and two rose-cut moissanites.
It does not have its runner.
It is in perfect condition. No breakage or repairs have been noted.
Its gross weight is 4,73 gr.
I wear it on a current large mesh chain which sublimates its extremely modern and timeless character.
