Chatelaine In Silver, XIXth

This is a typical solid silver chatelaine with a clamp from the second half of the 19th century.
It has its seal with the initials Rb, its watch case with the interlaced initials EM, its watch and its watch key.
It is decorated with scrolls with stylized fleur-de-lis and horses on a vegetal background.
The jewel is in perfect condition.
The watch is in perfect condition. It has been recently serviced.
It has a poppy design on the back.

This chatelaine can be worn pinched on a collar.
It can also be worn as a pendant on a chain, as long as it has a small clasp.
I could wear it on a very modern chain, as a tie on a jumper for example.
The jewel has an extraordinary and delicate presence.
