"Norman Earthenware Soup Tureen From Bavent."

Rare L XV style soup tureen in Bavent earthenware. It was manufactured by the Tuilerie Normande du Mesnil-de-Bavent around 1900-1930 and bears the arms of Normandy on its side. Earthenware with a fine network of cracks and polychromy applied freehand. Good condition. A foot was broken and reattached.
