Superb and rare large hand-painted porcelain box with a sumptuous decor based on the creations of François Boucher. Different scenes adorn the 4 outer faces, these are scenes with putti having fun. The lid is meanwhile) decorated with a gallant scene in the same style. The entire decor is surrounded by scrolls of acanthus leaves painted in fine gold in celadon and soft pink reserves. The hinge seems in chiseled solid silver (a large hallmark in the middle). No factory mark or decorator. I take any information. Certainly Louis XVI period, late 18th century.
