"Very Large Pair Of Louis XV Style Gilt Bronze Candelabra By Robert Frères In Paris"
A very large pair of gilt bronze six-light candelabra in the Louis XV style signed on the base by Robert Frères and stamped by the Maison Susse à Paris. The iconography of these lights is influenced by the art nouveau movement. It results from the study of the stylistic meaning inspired by nature, which is characterised by its lightness, combined with the imprint of the rococo style of the 18th century. Rich decoration of foliage and stylized trumpet-shaped binnacles. Very good quality of chasing, gilding slightly worn in some places.
