"Large Portrait Of A Young Shepherd, Graphite And Pencil Drawing, 1895"
Charming portrait of a young shepherd, signed and dated December 1895. This very beautiful drawing was made in pencil and pencil. It represents the allegory of spring: the young subject holds in his arms a bouquet of lilacs and a bird's nest filled with eggs. Work filled with sweetness and very well done. Great mastery of the technique used. This very beautiful portrait is in good condition but it nevertheless has very many small bites (see photos) which are not particularly embarrassing if we take into account their size and the age of the object. This portrait is presented in an early 20th century frame in gold lacquered wood with a few repaints. It is framed under glass.
