Bronze sculpture, The elegant Art-Deco, Signed A. Bonnetain Dated 1932 Diameter: 11.5cm Dim. 13.5 x 13.5cm H. 42cm Armand Bonnetain is a Belgian sculptor and medalist, born in Brussels in 1883 and died in the same city in 1973. Armand Bonnetain was a pupil of Constant Montald and Charles Van der Stappen. In 1914, his studio was located at no. 28-30 rue Washington in Ixelles, designed by the architect Henri van Dievoet in 1889 for the stockbroker Félix Rodberg. This workshop was rented by Félix Rodberg to several artists: to the painter Louis Artan de Saint-Martin (1837-1890) around 1893 and to the artist-painter Hippolyte Wulffaert (from 1897 to 1912).
