"Louis XIII Armchair, 17th Century Armchair."
Chair with arms resting on a base composed of two rear legs with a cane section and two front legs in a spiral, all connected by an H spacer. The double front cross member, as well as the armrests and armrest supports, are also worked in a spiral. The rectangular-shaped backrest is flat and short and covered with burgundy-coloured leather, as is the seat, which has also been reinforced with additional straps (see last photo) to give it more firmness. Note some wear due to use on the leather. Studded finish. We would like to point out that this model of double front cross seat is very rare on the market.
