"Maison Theroude 1831-1878, The Guitar Player"
Maison THEROUDE 1831-1878, The Guitar Player, rare version moving on 3 wheels Standing, Beautiful and majestic, she wanders thanks to 3 brass wheels hidden under her dress to the sound of her music. Mechanical musical automaton with 3 movements, and 1 tune music. Movement of the head pivoting from left to right, movement of the right arm which strums the strings of his 4-string guitar and movement of the left arm which plucks the strings at the level of the neck. The head is in painted cardboard with blue paperweight eyes, to report a lack of paint on the right cheek, some cracks, some wear to the embroidered silk clothing, movements of the arms and the head almost non-existent but the wheel drive works to the rhythm of the music, it is true a little lazy. A revision is therefore necessary. Only the key is not original. Very nice state of freshness preserved thanks to the pendulum globe under which it reached us.
