Hippolyte Lecomte (1781-1857). Pupil of Jean-Baptiste Regnault and Pierre-Antoine Mongin, Hippolyte Lecomte is a painter of history and genre scenes. He represented here a departure for the hunt. In the center a couple on horseback gives the orders, on the left the dog pack, the falconer, and some characters on horseback, we distinguish the castle on the right of the stage.
