"Maple Burl Jewelery Box"
Casket, jewelry box in maple burr veneer and ebonized wood in the shape of a stepped temple embellished with a silvered bronze trim. This box opens and reveals four side-hinged trays with a green velvet interior, small gilt brass hooks with medallions positioned in the bottom. This box opens and closes perfectly thanks to its small key. Work from the second part of the 19th century to be compared to the productions of Charles Guillaume Diehl or the Maison Tahan. Quality box in very good condition, presence of wear on the small wooden plate inclined on the front due to the tenons of the lock. Dimensions: Width: 30.7 cm – Depth: 19.7 cm – Height: 26.4 cm
