Charming oil on wood panel representing a Breton woman fishing by the sea, signed by the painter Jules CORNILLIET (born in Versailles in 1830, died in 1886), who was a pupil of Horace Vernet and Ary Scheffer and began to exhibit in 1857 at the Salon de Paris. It is signed lower right, dated 1876 and measures with its frame 40x32 cm
