Large wooden chofa representing the birdman Garuda. Garuda is the enemy of the Naga (serpents with 7 heads), but Naga and Garuda are in fact only two incarnations of Vishnu, the two aspects of the divine substance, in which they are reconciled. Remains of polychromy. Good condition. Modern plinth. Thailand – Early 20th. Dimensions: Height: 155 cm without base.
