Twisted shaft in royal red marble topped with an Ionic capital in sculpted and gilded black marble, ending in a Doric base in black and gilded marble (wear and slight chips) This remarkable twisted marble column was part of an architectural decoration of the 17th century (base and capital in black and gilded marble brought back to the 19th century, old marble restoration)
