The box is dated 1900-1910th enamelled vermeil decorated with geometric patterns, polychrome enamel (in full) the lid with a scene painted by Sergei Solomko (famous imperial painter, illustrator, designer, watercolourist) He was famous in the revision of old costumes traditional Russians. He worked for the Maison Fabergé.
