"Georges Rose (1895-1951) Watercolor And Charcoal View Of The Moulin De Verzenay Near Reims In Champagne Marne"
Watercolor and charcoal representing a view of the Moulin de Verzenay in the Marne which offers an exceptional view of the Champagne vineyards. This is a windmill built on a hill at the beginning of the 19th century and which ceased activity in 1903. It now belongs to a large Champagne wine house. Presented in a mat traced and watercolored by hand and endowed with a deep gilded bevel, in a gilded wooden frame carved of very good quality which perfectly highlights it. An interesting subject, very pretty pastel colors that respond in a beautiful harmony. Titled lower left and signed lower right "Georges Rose". Dimensions: 24.5 cm x 31.5 cm view 47 cm x 53 cm Frame Good condition.
