"Stained Glass Representing A Medieval Character In The Roman Art / Middle Ages Style, Early Twentieth Period"
Interesting stained glass from the very beginning of the 20th century, made in the purest spirit of representations of Roman art and representing a character from the Middle Ages. This stained glass window was made from very old glass, with all the irregularities (bubbles, etc.) that make this type of material so charming. The set is in good general condition, however two small minor cracks are to be noted on the tunic and on one of the character's shoes (see photos). Finally, a tiny expansion of the lead of a few millimeters is present on the bottom edge of the tunic (blue part) but does not cause any fragility on the stained glass window. In order to facilitate its handling, our stained glass window is sold with a set of four brushed metal rods which are placed around the edge of the object and allow it to maintain its rigidity.
