Large patinated bronze sculpture from the mid-19th century attributed to the talent of JB Clesinger (1814-1883) Allegorical composition with a female figure in the Neoclassical style featuring the muse Melpomene, the young woman holds a theatrical mask in her hand, dressed in With a long antique drape, it is positioned seated on a refined pedestal in black marble marquetry with a white veined upright ending in a cherry red terrace. Good general condition, dimensions: 70 cm high X 25 cm wide.
