"Pair Of Candlesticks With Five Lights - Nineteenth"
These two altar candlesticks are in gilded brass with five lights. The 5 is mentioned more than 300 times in the Bible and is directly linked to the grace, mercy and favor of God. It therefore goes well with the bearer of Light which is by definition ... a spade candle. they are decorated with floral vines and grapes, like a delicate signature to Christ to whom they refer. Three openwork crosses are at the level of the foot. The upper part of one of the candlesticks is slightly deformed and one of the flanges at the level of the support of a candle is missing. Traces of oxidation but good overall condition for this old piece Height of 59 cm by 35 cm for each of the twin candlesticks
