Born in 1971, Nina Puruntatameri is a young and promising artist from the Tiwi Islands in northern Australia and who now lives on Melville Island. she has been painting since the early 1990s and her works are already in major museums and collections. the painting represents the ancestral motifs of a fertility rite called Kulama.
