"Pesaro Dish With Relief Decor, Last Quarter Of The Eighteenth Century"

This beautiful platter is finely decorated in relief with playing angels, flowers, fruits and winged cherubs all around the edge. In the center is a beautiful image also in relief with 4 little angels playing with a lamb, symbol of Christianity in a landscape reminiscent of the Holy Land.

This plate is a Pesaro factory produced between 1770 and 1780. It has a break in the upper left corner, easily restored by an expert restorer. Measurements are 24cm high x 28.5cm long.
