"Screen 4 Leaves Nineteenth Decor Of Hunting With Hounds"
Superb and rare screen with 4 leaves from the 19th century on which a hunting scene is painted. Composed of 4 sheets 46cm wide with a policeman's hat, the painted side represents a large hunting scene where we see dogs followed by hunters on horseback crossing a path on which circulates a cariolle carrying characters the whole on a countryside landscape background. The back is made up of 12 black lacquered wooden panels enhanced with golden threads. Probably English work, very decorative set and in excellent condition.
