Joshagan is an example of this classification system. Joshagan, located in central Iran is one of the oldest continuous weaving centers in Iran.
It is known for its stylized geometric and floral ornament with a lattice pattern.

Size : 196 x 128 cm
Condition: general wear, small white weft dots visible on the entire rug. a stain & ine restoration on the right side corner of 10cm by 10cm visible from the back of the carpet. On this same angle the carpet is less flexible.. fringing missing on one part and yellowing on another part.
