Renaissance period fireback (before 1600) with the arms of Lorraine, placed above a crowned cherub with outstretched wings, and flanked by two acanthus columns emerging from a rose window. a rope as a protection from evil girds its iconography. A frieze with inverted volutes and a frame complete its decoration. This plate was found in Remonville in the Vosges. His weight is 59 kg. A crack re-welded by time should be noted on the right side.
