"Exceptional Small Louis XVI Period Fireplace"
Exceptional small Louis XVI period fireplace, from the city center of Nancy, in perfect original condition. Its lintel is decorated with the attributes of love enriched with a couple of lovebirds in its center and flower baskets at its ends, it rests on straight, sheathed, fluted and rudenté legs, topped with a stapled garland. It should be noted a remarkable quality of sculpture including a double frieze of rais-de-coeur running through its lintel and rows of pearls and olives on the periphery of its reserves. This fireplace comes from the former collection of Mr Jacques Pouillon in Versailles. The dimensions of its hearth are 108 cm x 90 cm.
