Important Ormolu Mounted Meuble d'Appui Stamped Gervais Durand

Superb meuble d'appui in tulip wood veneer and amaranth wood in reserve, presenting on the front and on each side beautiful foliage decorations in rosewood marquetry.
The sides are curved and the front, opening with two doors, slightly domed; on the upper part, an ogee supports an elegant Aleppo breccia marble top molded on both sides in corbin's beak; the whole presents a very rich ornamentation of very finely chiseled gilt bronze

Built in solid oak.

Exceptional work from the end of the 19th century by the famous cabinetmaker Gervais Maximilien Durand.

Perfect condition, completely restored to its original state by our workshop: cleaning of the bronzes (original gilding), application of a natural varnish with a stamp according to traditional methods.
