A pupil of Monet and Nozal, Léon Broquet only really left traces from the beginning of the 20th century, exhibiting at the Salon from 1901 until the age of 60 years. A painter of landscapes, he captures atmospheres and lights with this very impressionistic sensibility. You will easily find his works and many elements on Wikipedia, the page of which is the result of very serious research.
Our bare view illustrates these two flowering trees whose habit resembles that of the wild prunus, one of the first to light up the countryside with its springtime whiteness.
