"Small Inlaid Donkey Bone Secretary"
Small dimensions and elegance characterize this pretty donkey bone secretary from the 18th century. It is inlaid with fruit wood, with a decor of Greek nets, straight nets, crimps and a floral bouquet in the center of the seat. The latter discovers an interior layout of small drawers with a curved front and a hatch whose top slides to reveal storage. The inner side of the seat is sheathed in leather marked with a beautiful old patina with traces of wear. One of the small interior drawers has an arrangement of compartments, once intended to hold one or two inkwells or a bottle of salt. The front is curved with two belt drawers. The curved legs are also inlaid with fruit wood.
