"Statuette Crystal Naked Woman Floréal Lalique France XXth" Small statuette or crystal paperweight representing a young naked woman, model "Floréal", signed Lalique * France, on a black glass base, from the 20th century. This statuette is in good very good condition. It is signed on the side. This is the "Floréal" model, created in 1928, cap of the large bottle n°1 of the "Myosotis" toilet set, in molded pressed white glass. René Jules Lalique (1860-1945) is a French master glassmaker and jeweler, founder of Maison Lalique. He became famous for his astonishing creations of jewellery, then perfume bottles, vases, candlesticks, clocks and, at the end of his life, car cabochons. The company he founded is still in operation and still creates many quality pieces that made him famous around the world. The Lalique name has remained attached to creativity and quality.
