Thierry Michelet (1958-2013) IV:: "The sun meets the moon", painting on canvas approximately 200 X 200 cm. Trained at the Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux, he is part of a neo-expressionist current which finds echoes all over Europe: Baselitz, Fetting, Salomé or Penck in Germany, Clemente or Chia in Italy, Garouste or Blais in France or Barcelo in Spain among many others, each finding a different way of expression, but with an obvious relationship, a visceral painting, strong, often colorful and fast, which does not mean sloppy!
