Very beautiful solid silver dish from the 18th century with round scalloped fillets.
Manufactured by Alexandre De Roussy, received on September 13, 1758 as a master goldsmith in Paris, this manufacturer disappeared in 1791. (Source: Dictionary of the hallmarks of French master goldsmiths, Beuque and M.Frapsauce.)
Date stamp with crowned M 1775.
Hallmark charge with interlaced L 1775 1781.
Large relief punch, ox head 1775 1781.
Large revolutionary punch identifies a woman's head with a Phrygian cap.
Law of 19 Brumaire year VI (November 9, 1797) Hallmark of the year VI for works marked with the hallmarks of the old regime.
It is in very good condition.
