Clovis MASSON (1838-1913).

Charming little bronze of a mouse nibbling on a sugar, it has a brown patina on a black marble base and the sugars are in Alabaster.
It is signed hollow C. MASSON on the terrace
This is a cast from an old edition from the end of the 19th century or the very beginning of the 20th century.

This sculpture is in good condition, beautiful finesse of the carving, no shock, little wear, beautiful patina, note a discreet small incomplete slit on lower sugar.
