Very heavy tulip'shaped beaker in sterling silver from the Louis XV period with the hallmarks of Orleans for the period 1762-1764. It is also hallmarked with the hallmark of a master silversmith by Martin Lumière, received master in 1748 and who died in 1773. Exceptionally heavy for its size, the thickness of its silver protected it from dents and bumps. It weighs 193 grams.
