Schwäbisch Gmünd, German Empire, 19th c., Pair of neo-Renaissance Hors d'Oeuvre forks in partially gilded solid silver, the forks in gilded metal. Baluster-shaped, the silver handles receive a rich ornamentation of friezes of gadroons and pearls, twisted gadroons framed by cut leather on the body, the end in the shape of a crown or a covered vase, adorned with four grotesque masks formed of foliage, foliage and palm leaves, surmounted by a leafy seed on a base of gadroons.
In a crimson satin leather case monogrammed RB in gilt lettering.
