This two-body sideboard is in walnut, made with great care, the wood that was chosen to make it is nicely veined and the symmetry in the panels demonstrates real aesthetic research. The upper body is set back deeply. It opens with two doors and two drawers in its lower part and two doors and two drawers in its upper part, the so-called large frame doors as well as the side panels are provided with a large and bold molding. The piece of furniture is flanked at the four corners as well as on the false frame by twisted columns, it rests on feet turned in the form of slightly flattened balls, the high and low cornices are original. In good condition, this piece of furniture has not undergone any major restoration except for one or two small parts. Lyon region, 17th century. Dimensions: height 192 cm, width 150 cm, depth 65 cm.
