"The Little Miseries Of War By Jacques Callot"
Very fine proof of the plate entitled "La Revanche des Paysans" from the suite of "Small Miseries of War" by Jacques CALLOT (1592-1635). This is a second state/II proof (Lieure nr 1337, Meaume nr 562). Very nice print with very nice margins, presented in a beautiful gilt leaf frame and a wash mat. Dimension of the copper: 5.7 x 11.5 cm. Framed size: 24.5 x 31 cm.
