She is a pupil of Ange Tissier, Florent Willems and Léon Bonnat. She exhibited for the first time at the Salon in 1876 a painting entitled Invocation of the Bride. She was a member of the Salon des artistes français in 1885 and obtained an honorable mention there in 1887. Her genre scenes were highly appreciated by critics and several of her paintings were cited.
