Henri De Saint-delis (marconne 1878-honfleur 1949) Watercolor With Teapot And Fruit

If he was one of the best painters of the estuary, he is also appreciated for his still lifes of which he gives us a fine example here with this watercolor on pencil lines which magnificently interprets this set with a teapot. This is a composition full of freshness by this great Norman painter (although born in Pas-de-Calais). A rich palette of colors in the chromatic range of blues, grays, ochres, a perfectly mastered touch.
