Superb and rare cast iron medallion, representing Charles IV and his family. Large uniface iron cast featuring the eightfold portrait of the Royal Family of Spain, executed in 1808 during his exile in France. We recognize King Charles IV, Queen Marie Louise of Parma and their five children: Charlotte, Marie Louise, Ferdinand, Charles and Francis. Work of very good quality from the beginning of the 19th century. In good general condition, however note wear from use on the patina. Weight: 713 g. Diameter: 18cm.
