In carved wood, rectangular in shape, flared in the openwork upper part, surmounted by two protective figures of ancestors and decorated with geometric patterns. Traces of red, blue and white polychromy. Patina of use.
Massim region - Papua New Guinea - First half of the 20th century.
Sold with a custom base in patinated brass.
