"Prosper Galerne (1836-1922)"
Prosper Galerne, born in Patay on April 28, 1836 and died in La Ferté-Alais on August 31, 1922, was a French painter.Prosper Galerne was a pupil of Eugène Le Poittevin and Jean-Baptiste Henri Durand-Brager. He lived in La Ferté-Alais, where a street honors his memory. He is buried in the municipal cemetery.
