Beautifully crafted, these chairs are stamped in ink inside the "Jeanselme" belts. The Jeanselme house is a dynasty of Parisian cabinetmakers active from 1824 until the end of the 19th century. Suppliers of the courses of Louis-Philippe and Napoleon III, they bought in 1847 the funds of the Jacob house.
