The portrait presented here represents a lady of quality around 1830, a beautiful representation on ivory in a silver frame decorated with brilliants and surmounted by a Louis XVI style bow. - Savinien Edmé Dubourjal: Recognized painter and miniaturist, pupil of Girodet, known for his portraits of the high aristocracy made during the restoration, some of which are exhibited in various museums. Note: A few shiny missing around the edge of the frame.
