Christopher Dresser for Minton. Around 1870-1880. Four earthenware tiles, dust-pressed black paste, printed in red and black ocher on a cream ground. The design is a square set in a quatrefoil surrounded by an ornament of stylized spiny leaves. Maker's mark on reverse.
