They come from the workshop of goldsmith Alexander Macrae in London. Of a grandiose quality of execution, they are not only gilt but also richly engraved with typically George II motifs even in the interiors of the spoons . There are exactly 12 dessert spoons, 12 dessert forks and 12 dessert knives with silver blades. The set weighs a generous 1750 grams.
