Sumptuous George II style dessert cutlery service in goldplated sterling silver,dating from the Victorian era, London 1871 (1876 for some pieces). They come from the workshop of goldsmith Alexander Macrae in London. Of a grandiose quality of execution, they are not only gilt but also richly engraved with typically George II motifs even in the interiors of the spoons . There are exactly 12 dessert spoons, 12 dessert forks and 12 dessert knives with silver blades. The set weighs a generous 1750 grams.
