"Colombine And Pierrot By Richard Geiger (hungarian, B.1870)"
This pretty Art Deco scene with Columbine and Pierrot was created by the famous Austro-Hungarian painter Richard Geiger, born in 1870 in Vienna. The artist studied at the Vienna Academy under Christian Griepenkerl and Eisenmenger and later in Paris in the studio of L. Flameng. From 1893 Geiger worked in Budapest as a portrait, nude and genre painter.
