It consists, in the upper part, of a cabinet with two doors opening onto a set of two shelves, surmounted by a very pretty cornice in the shape of a policeman's hat, embellished with a wooden sculpture forming a shell.
The lower part is composed on the one hand, of a secretary opening by a flap revealing a theater comprising six animated drawers in Macassar ebony and Rio rosewood marquetry, in two rows, then in its center, a lockable tabernacle door and on the other hand a low cabinet with two doors opening onto a set with a shelf.
The set is magnified by finely carved wooden moldings, decorated with shells and interlacing, ornamentations characteristic of the Louis XIV period, supported by two square legs at the back and two "snail" finish legs at the before.

This achievement is a very beautiful work of cabinetmaking, made with care and craftsmanship, an order special, of a lover of precious wood and sobriety just like the furniture of this 3rd period of the reign, of the Sun King or in anticipation appears the regency style, with sets always very symmetrical and new ornaments which make their appearance, with the shell and the floret.
This unique and exceptional piece pays homage in every respect, through the chosen woods and the respect of codes, to the image of an Absolute King and a powerful State giving this period the name of the "Grand Siècle".
